Little Dragons
1.Develop Social Skills. One of the main functions of martial arts classes is to learn to promote social skills with other children and adults. Students learn to show respect with a bow, saying encouraging comments to others, working and talking with adult teachers. Learn how to introduce themselves to others, and learn how to be partners with others. 2.Develop Motor Skills. Specific drills develop motor skills appropriate for their age. Coordination skills, right and left side development, flexibility, muscle strength, and mobility skills. 3.Promote Self-Discipline. Self-discipline comes with practice gradually; repetition and memorization will be achieved with time. It also involves the control of emotions and behaviors in class. 4.Developing learning skills. Combination of mental, physical and emotional
skills. Includes listening skills, following directions and becoming aware
of how ones body moves. |
